FAQS
HOW DO I KNOW IF THERAPY IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Considering therapy and deciding to start looking for a therapist is a big decision. If you're unsure whether therapy might be helpful for you, we offer a free, 15-minute phone call to discuss your needs and how we might be able to help. Use the contact details to get in touch by email or phone to arrange a time to chat.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer a sliding scale fee structure at present. We aim to be fair and transparent in our pricing and truly believe that therapy is an investment in yourself.
If you have any concerns around our fees, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss further.
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
Once an assessment session has been completed, individual therapy sessions usually last around 1 hour. There are some occasions where we might recommend sessions of 1.5 hours. Frequency and duration of your appointments can be discussed and agreed during your assessment and we aim to be as flexible as possible to ensure therapy is both accessible and beneficial.
WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?
Our cancellation policy within our terms and conditions is sent to you right from your first enquiry so you feel informed from the start.

Whilst we understand that life can get in the way at times, we ask that we are given at least 24 hours notice should you be unable to attend, at which point you will either not be charged or refunded the cost of your session (or the fee reallocated to your next appointment if you choose to do this). After 24 hours, charges may be incurred should you cancel your appointment. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.
ARE APPOINTMENTS IN PERSON OR ONLINE?
We offer both online and in-person appointments, however please be aware we only operate a limited number of in-person clinics which can impact the availability of slots.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Our service is based in Newport, however as we offer a remote therapy service this can be accessed from any location.

In-person appointments are held in Risca which is easily accessible by car or public transport- around 20 minutes away from Newport and around 25 minutes from Cardiff. Plenty of free, on street parking is available outside the clinic and it is in close proximity to the train station and bus stop (walking distance).
